Our doulas are independent contractors with their own businesses who decided to team up with Baby, Please Birth Services to gain more knowledge and expertise in their fields while ALSO expanding their area range. Rest assured each doula has been properly vetted, trained and/or mentored by Michelle Gabriel-Caldwell, owner of Baby, Please Birth Services and doula with over 18 years' experience. 
You see when you hire your doula from the agency they receive real time support from Michelle, utilizing her decades of experience and interpersonal connections within the birthing community at large. While she may not be physically present at your birth, she is behind the scenes offering your doula up to date information regarding your care. Plus, when you ask your doula questions, little do you know sometimes they are getting those answers from her...but ONLY if booked through the agency!
